We had a lovely stay at Jericho Escape , a comfortable and modern 4, bedroom house. the location was perfect, with just a short walk into the city centre of Oxford. Jericho itself offered plenty of bars and interesting shops to explore. the house itself had lots of space, perfect for our three, generation family. the beds and sofas were comfy, and the interior design was impressive. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful backyard, where we even had afternoon tea with a friendly robin.

Plus, having off, street parking was a bonus, even though we didn't use it in the end.

The location was perfect for us to explore Oxford city center and there were cool restaurants and pubs just minutes away. We also had a blast visiting the Hinksey Heights Golf Course and Frilford Heath Golf Club. It was worth it, even though we're not pros. Plus, the cable programming in the house kept us entertained when we wanted to chill.

The only thing we would've loved to have is a pool or a hot tub at the house. It would've been the icing on the cake for our young party-going crew.

A mansion with no functioning key? How exciting! Had to play spy and enter through the back door. Posh! Lost a day waiting for a key change, missed museums and lost money. Unacceptable!

The steep stairs leading up to the master bedroom were a bit challenging, but the room and the view were definitely worth it. Some of the furniture in the house was run down and could use replacing.
